BSV Blockchain had the pleasure of attending the International Conference on Management, Business, and Economics (ICMBE’23) in Madrid on 11-13 September 2023.
The event was organised by the University of Almeria and is part of the annual event of the CANWEST Research Conference. It aimed to highlight the latest research and studies on the latest topics in management, business and economics as well as the most relevant speakers and experts in the field of management, business and economics.
Presenting a keynote address at the event, Professor Latif Ladid (President of the IPv6 Forum) discussed using IPv6 as a key technology of the new Internet and how its symbiotic relationship with blockchain is key to evolving a wide array of promising technologies in the near future.
IPv6 and the BSV blockchain
The current Internet is deficient in many ways, and switching to an Internet solely based on IPv6 can tackle these deficiencies – especially when pairing it with a scalable and secure blockchain like the BSV blockchain.
One of the challenges facing the widespread adoption of IoT is the limited number of IP addresses available under the current IPv4 protocol. IPv6, on the other hand, offers a much larger address space, which is essential for the growth of IoT. With IPv6, there are more than enough IP addresses to accommodate the vast number of IoT devices that are expected to come online in the coming years.
By using blockchain technology and IPv6 together, IoT devices can be securely connected and communicate with each other without the need for a central authority. This can help to streamline data exchange and make it more reliable and efficient.
The BSV blockchain is the world’s only public blockchain capable of scaling to meet the needs of IPv6 implementations thanks to its unbounded scaling capabilities, as well as peer-to-peer structure lending it to IP-to-IP communications.
Committed to educating about BSV blockchain
By continuing to be involved in prestigious events such as the CANWEST Research Congress, BSV Blockchain is committed to educating the world about blockchain solutions and shaping the future of the Internet.
‘This was a unique opportunity to meet with business leaders, government officials, and key academics from around the world,’ said Martin Coxall, Marketing Director at BSV Association.
‘Global adoption of blockchain technology requires enterprises and lawmakers to become comfortable with blockchain technology. To ensure the development of a regulatory environment that both fosters lawful conduct and facilitates innovation, BSV Blockchain regularly engages with leading policymakers and businesses to raise awareness of legislative issues and advise on development.’
