BSV Blockchain recently hosted the Data and Innovation Forum in Shanghai, China. The forum, which took place on 21 January 2024, is an important event on the Chinese technology calendar and is set to cover several emerging and groundbreaking technologies including the BSV blockchain, Artificial Intelligence (AI), cloud computing, and data asset management.
The event was organised by BSV Blockchain’s Asia–Pacific (APAC) Hub and included a presentation by Lin Zheming (BSV Blockchain Ambassador in China). Several key partners were also in attendance, including:
- 518 Blockchain Meetup;
- Keyi Tech;
- AI+ Web3 Convention;
- BM Intelligence Group.
Lise Li, Head of the BSV Blockchain China Hub and CEO of Keyi Tech kicked off the conference by emphasising the pivotal role of BSV blockchain technology in maximising the utility of data assets and highlighted its outstanding performance, along with features like unbounded scalability and extremely low fees, which provide sustainable solutions for enterprises.
‘The application of this technology is anticipated to effectively address the high-performance blockchain needs of enterprises, presenting abundant opportunities for innovative development,’ she said.
This was echoed by Zheming who believes that BSV blockchain technology is capable of adding new value to data, enabling the commodification of personal data. ‘Data can acquire exclusivity and competitiveness through the use of BSV blockchain, making it a tradable commodity,’ he said. ‘The introduction of this perspective is crucial for unlocking the value of data and driving innovation in digital economic development.’
BitClass showcase
The forum is the latest in a series of outreach and education initiatives implemented by BSV Blockchain in the APAC region. In August 2023, BSV Blockchain launched its newest education platform – BitClass.
Primarily aimed at the Chinese market, BitClass is a one-stop learning platform dedicated to the BSV blockchain, offering a series of scientifically designed and comprehensive learning resources suitable for people from all backgrounds.
The platform, which is open to users around the world, offers a range of different learning options, including text-based courses, video courses, technical documents and a BSV Wiki.
BitClass set up an exclusive booth at the Data and Innovation Forum, providing attendees with a window to understand BSV blockchain technology and attracting numerous new user registrations. In this way, BitClass is emerging as a forerunner in steering the direction of blockchain education.
